Project and Website Progress Log

Chronological Record of Website Milestones and Platform Engineering

This log records the creation and evolution of the Digital Mirror public research portal alongside major high-level engineering milestones achieved in the core clinical research suite.

8 November 2026 — Clinical Neuroscience Peer-Review Refinements and Canonical DNS Resolution

  • Canonical www Domain Resolution: Configured www.digitalmirror.tech in Cloudflare with an SSL certificate and an edge 301 redirect to https://digitalmirror.tech.
  • Neuroscience & Regulatory Peer-Review Updates: Refined the Abstract and supporting documentation in response to clinical neuroscience reviewer feedback—clarifying sub-second temporal biofeedback contingency, adding an explicit pre-IRB investigational research notice, standardizing American English (artifact), capitalizing IAF (Individual Alpha Frequency), replacing ambiguous eye-tracking phrasing with explicit eye-state and blink monitoring (EAR), and adopting precise cryptographic terminology (Client-Side Authenticated Encryption / Zero-Access Architecture).
  • Semantic Accessibility & Typography: Standardized H1 -> H2 heading hierarchy, en-dash relational compounds (excitation–inhibition), and descriptive page <title> metadata across all portal pages.

6 November 2026 — Serverless Collaboration Inquiry Portal, IRB Governance, and Visual Architecture Diagrams

  • Cloudflare Worker Endpoint Deployed: Added a lightweight edge serverless endpoint (/api/contact) with anti-bot honeypot and timing protections to securely route collaboration inquiries without exposing destination email addresses in the public repository or page source.
  • Interactive Collaboration Form: Embedded a structured inquiry form on the Call for Collaboration page enabling clinicians, neuroscientists, and ethics board members to submit inquiries directly from the portal.
  • Clinical Safety, Ethics, and IRB Governance Published: Added the dedicated Safety, Ethics & IRB specification detailing the five-layer defense-in-depth safety stack, clinical AI red-teaming boundary benchmarks, physiological/eye-state off-ramps, and local NER de-identification.
  • Architectural Vector Diagrams and Standalone Glossary Added: Embedded six publication-style vector diagrams (Figures 1–6) across the Abstract, Theoretical Framework, System Architecture, Safety, Ethics & IRB, and High-Level Roadmap pages, and launched the standalone Glossary tab.

5 November 2026 — Multimodal Architecture Showcase and Documentation Expansion

  • Public Portal Expansion: Updated the website to reflect the transition of the Digital Mirror from an initial baseline prototype into a comprehensive, clinician-governed multimodal research suite.
  • System Architecture Published: Added the dedicated System Architecture documentation, detailing the "Session Zero" psychometric intake ecosystem, synchronized 4-pillar multimodal telemetry, Dual-Path ("Cold Path / Hot Path") Therapist-in-Control governance, biomechanical viseme and procedural shader biofeedback engines, and empirical validation tooling.
  • Theoretical Framework and Roadmap Updated: Expanded the theoretical documentation to incorporate real-time aperiodic (1/f) cortical parameterization, broadband spectral entropy, and somatic–autonomic concordance. Updated the eight-phase engineering roadmap and interdisciplinary collaboration tracks.
  • Progress Log Added: Established this chronological project log to track ongoing pre-trial milestones.

1–5 November 2026 — Empirical Validation, Timing Audits, and Clinical Safety Red-Teaming (Phases 5–7)

  • Multimodal Clinical Compilation and Interactive Replay: Completed the post-session compilation pipeline (fusing hardware-accelerated speech transcription, speaker diarization, vocal prosody, and time-locked biometric epochs) alongside interactive "Holodeck" session telemetry replay.
  • Cross-Stream Synchronization and Jitter Auditing: Implemented empirical timing audits verifying sub-millisecond clock alignment and inter-sample interval (ISI) stability across asynchronous 256 Hz EEG, 30 Hz somatic computer vision, and event marker streams.
  • Statistical Modeling of Craniofacial EEG Artifacts: Integrated controlled 12-condition craniofacial and ocular artifact calibration protocols utilizing non-parametric statistics, linear mixed-effects modeling, and Benjamini-Hochberg False Discovery Rate (FDR) correction.
  • Clinical AI Red-Teaming and Boundary Verification: Executed automated clinical safety red-teaming benchmarks across the air-gapped copilot pipeline, verifying strict adherence to diagnostic and pharmacological scope refusals, crisis escalation protocols, non-reinforcement of delusional content, and prompt-injection resilience.

23–31 October 2026 — Multimodal Telemetry, Somatic Vision, and Procedural Biofeedback (Phases 1–4)

  • "Session Zero" Psychometric Intake Ecosystem: Engineered the pre-session multidimensional psychometric scoring engine, radar visualization suite, and safety-first pacing heuristics.
  • Somatic Computer Vision and Acoustic Biomarkers: Integrated real-time high-density facial landmarking for Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) eye-state monitoring and subject-relative Facial Action Coding System (FACS) micro-expression Z-scores, paired with vocal prosody and speech latency extraction.
  • Aperiodic (1/f) Spectral Parameterization: Added real-time decomposition of periodic neural oscillations and the aperiodic 1/f spectral exponent alongside Shannon spectral entropy.
  • Reflective Avatar and GPU Shader Biofeedback: Deployed the localized neural voice synthesis and spectral-biomechanical viseme morphing engine alongside OpenGL raymarched visual biofeedback environments coupled to live autonomic and cortical coherence.

18–22 October 2026 — Core DSP Hardening and Client-Side Encrypted Vault Architecture (Phases 0–0.5)

  • Client-Side Cryptographic Stewardship: Implemented authenticated AES-GCM symmetric encryption, asymmetric PGP vaults, automated session idle-lockouts, and local Named Entity Recognition (NER) transcript de-identification.
  • Compiled Microsecond DSP Core: Hardened the real-time digital signal processing pipeline with compiled low-latency kernels, impedance and EMG stability gating, Frontal Alpha Asymmetry (FAA), and baseline-calibrated phase synchrony.

17 October 2026 — Website Creation and Initial Public Launch

  • Website Created: Established the Digital Mirror public documentation repository and deployed the live research portal via Cloudflare (17 October 2026).
  • Foundational Academic Baseline Published: Released the initial Abstract, Theoretical Framework (bridging Default Mode Network rumination, Thomas Metzinger's Phenomenal Self-Model, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy cognitive defusion), High-Level 8-Phase Development Roadmap, and Call for Collaboration.
